Hey, this is Jillian! Yet again my mom is to busy to blog for herself, so she delegated the task to me and anyone else who would do it. (She says it's a good opportunity to improve my writing.)
During the second week of May, I was able to go to Corvallis, Oregon, with our high school advanced band, along with nine other of my fellow seventh grade class mates. My mom helped chaperone.
Being sent off by high schoolers was kind of scary, but it was loads fun!
All around it was about a twenty hour drive, on a bus! Everyone jumped up and down when we made it to the hotel, where we stayed for two days.
On the second day we when to OSU and played our instruments.
Before we went onstage to play, we practiced in the warmup room.
Tyler had to write on the white board!
Us playing in the auditorium.
We placed seventh out of eight, but it was a fun experience for us!
(This was out of all the 1-A 2-A bands in the state of Oregon.)
Our band teacher told us that the judges were very hard this year, and no band scored really well.
At district, in Ontario, our band placed first with three superiors!
Later that night, we went shopping in the mall and swam at the hotel.
The next morning we packed up and left.
When we got home my family welcomed us back, and wholeheartedly asked us what was for dinner!

Hey this is Kiley. Glad you're helping your mom blog Jillian. Looks like a fun trip for you (minus the bus ride). We're missing your mom at the sister reunion.
