This week was good, we had a lot of sucess and found some new good families! This sunday was a bit hectic, becuase we brought eight people to church! Wow! That is way good! We are working hard with them and hope to have a few baptisms up and coming! We will see. All is well, we have a few dates for baptism and they are all progressing, so we will see how things go!
My comp left yesterday too! So that was kind of sad. But its the life of the missionary. The change went by way fast! The mission gets faster and faster. I am getting a new comp today, i dont know what his name is, but he is a gringo, so that will be tough. Id rather have a latino. But all is well! Its difficult because we are going to talk in english a ton, so we will have to try and only speak spanish. that is hilarious of the furry wombat thing!
Thats too bad with OBOB, but all is well! Too bad about singing too. But things pass, and we can always do better in the next thing we do=)
The wedding plans are going, we will see this week what they need. We found a two good families, who both assisted and have fechas to be baptised. So they are good, we are hoping they will progress more and more!
The work with the members...is a little bad. They arent really good members, there is a way prideful family of 8 here in the ward, and they have inactivated tons of people, and scare off a lot of investigatores. But its just an obstacle, all is well because the church is true! Doesnt matter how the people are in it. We do have a great family that we have started visiting on sundays. The husband is from los angeles, so he knows english, but isnt a member! So yeah, we work with him a little, and share their american house they have! Its way cool! They are great! They have a daughter whos name is maria jose, and she doesnt have any mormon friends, hasnt gone out on any dates, and is 17 (JILL). You two need to hook up. She added you on face book yesterday! Ill send a pick of them!
I havent got a package yet! I am sad haha! But it ought to be coming soon! and the fish are called sucker fish in spanish, i dont know if there are any types of fish there like that. But yeah, it tasted fine, nothing out of the ordinary anymore.
Well, i am running out of things to say...do you edit the letter i send when you send it to the ward? Is my letter longer or shorter then the other missionaries?
Well,
Love you guys tons!
Have a great week! I am always praying for you and your health and sucess!
Love,
Kurt
